Casa Corazón sits in a quiet neighborhood in the Sámara and Buena Vista area, wrapped in tropical foliage that keeps the backyard pool and rancho private. The wild, sunset splashed Buena Vista beach is an easy walk; Sámara, the busy town of the area, is a bike ride. A private outdoor shower handles the salt on the way back.

Huge windows and doors, vaulted teak ceilings and sweeping open spaces let the heat of the day escape toward the shade and the pool. Dine indoors or under the rancho, or stretch out on the hammock and rockers outside. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and en suite hot water showers, and a half bath in the main house keeps them private. The kitchen has a new glass-top stove and full oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, blender and quality pots, pans and utensils.

No smoking, 5G and 100 MB WiFi, a washing machine and a line drier with sun enough to do the work. Keep change handy for the fruit and vegetable trucks that come through the community announcing what they have. The local soda is a two-minute walk, an upscale restaurant five minutes from the gate, and the Verde Iguana grocery store another easy ride.
