Casa Elicia

Casa Elicia is a modern retreat set high above Playa Carrillo and finished in 2024. Two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with an open kitchen sit beneath a natural teak ceiling; sliding doors open onto the deck, where the view runs all the way to Cabo Blanco in the south and towards Sámara in the west.

The deck is the heart of the house, furnished with comfortable loungers and a dining set, with nothing to listen to but the surrounding nature. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a dedicated workspace; the second has two single beds that can be pushed together to make another king. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, a dishwasher and a large fridge with an icemaker, there is a small laundry area with washer and dryer, and fiber internet handles videoconferencing.

It is a five-minute drive down to Playa Carrillo, a pristine beach lined with coconut trees, which makes the house well suited to a family or two couples travelling together. Access is by a well-maintained gravel road, fine for a regular sedan in the dry season; we recommend an SUV from May to November, though a 4x4 is not necessary. Every part of the house is open to guests except one storage closet.
