Casa Molleo is nestled in Sámara Woods, a new residential community less than five minutes from the coastal town — close to the beach and town amenities, far enough from the noise to enjoy the jungle around it. The infinity plunge pool has a baja deck and a built-in umbrella stand for shade.

The primary bedroom is upstairs: a king Sealy bed, two large closets, a desk, a balcony with two chairs and a hammock chair, and a bathroom with shower and dual-sink vanity. The two bedrooms on the main floor each have a queen Sealy bed. All three have air conditioning, ceiling fans and ethernet ports, and the WiFi is 5G fiber-optic.

Appliances are brand new — Samsung refrigerator with ice maker, electric stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer — and the kitchen is fully equipped; outside there is a propane grill. The living room has a smart TV, a throwback Nintendo console, board games and books.

Two practical notes: the driveway needs four-wheel drive for a short but steep gravel incline, and a few houses in Sámara Woods are still being built, so you may hear construction. Liberia airport is 1 hr 45 min away, San José 4 hours; the caretakers live in the neighborhood and meet you on arrival.
